Emily Gibbs

Emily grew up a dancer, she loved stretching and movement and in some ways, was practicing yoga then without realizing it. In her early 30’s, around 2005, she began learning and practicing with a book from the library and a stretching video with Dixie Carter. She soon found a studio and class that she  loved and began her own personal home practice. Yoga helped her to calm her chattery mind, connect with herself in a deeper way and to connect with God.

Emily received her 200 KRI, Kundalini Yoga Certification in 2016.  She studied with Mukta Kaur and Dr. Gurusahay Khalsa.  She recently completed a Level 2, Mind & Meditation course with Nirvair Singh Khalsa.

She also is a Grounded Kids Yoga teacher and loves to include art into her children’s classes and in special workshops for adults. She found that our naturally, creative self is awakened and flows more easily after Yoga and Meditaion. She is also a gardener and studier of Permaculture. She believes that mindful and creative living is the way for our future.

Emily will be teaching Kundalini Vibes at Serenity Salt Cave and Healing Center beginning in January 2021.
